“Running for Cologne” charity project for the donation mat

With the „Running for Cologne“ charity project up to five clubs have the possibility to present their initiatives within the framework of the RheinEnergieMarathon Cologne on October 13, 2019 and to share the receipts of the donation mat.

Last year a total of € 15,000 were donated. For sure it is some hard work as the club members are to convince the runners at Aachener Weiher with creative ideas to cross the donation mat.

We are searching for institutions that use sport as a combining element for integration and inclusion and provide fun for kids and teenagers.

For this year, we selected Rheinflanke’s “Project HOPE” and Rugby Sport Verein Köln’s “Rugby United” campaign supporting kids and youngsters with diminished access to education and formation as well as kids from refugee families.

For more information on the initiatives please click here (however in German 🇩🇪 only).
